JBC is Jordan’s first and only producer and manufacturer of and derivatives. Established in January 1999, the Company is a joint venture between the Arab Potash Company and Albemarle Holdings LTD, a 100% affiliate of Albemarle Corporation.
Registered as a private Free Zone Establishment in Safi located in the southeast area of the Dead Sea, Jordan in June 2000, JBC employs over 280 people and is the first Jordanian company to become IMDG, ADR & IATA certified.
Since inception, the Company has successfully established sales in more than 30 countries worldwide, and is also the first company of its kind in Jordan to become an authorized exporter to Europe.
